P&G To Sell $1 Billion Global Notes

Consumer products company Procter & Gamble Co., maker of Cover Girl cosmetics and Crest toothpaste, plans to sell $1 billion of global notes today, market sources said. The notes will be split between five- and 12-year maturities and will be rated “Aa3” by Moody’s Investors Service and “AA-minus” by Standard & Poor’s. Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch are managing the sale....
